¿QUÉ SON?

Son reglas fijadas por la ICC (International Chamber of Commerce), reconocidas internacionalmente, que definen derechos y obligaciones entre comprador y vendedor y establecen cómo se asignarán los costes y riesgos entre las distintas partes de una transacción.

These are rules set by the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce), recognized internationally, which define rights and obligations between buyer and seller and establish how costs and risks will be allocated between the various parties to a transaction.

¿CUÁL ES SU USO?

Se usan para aclarar toda transacción comercial internacional. Fijan las condiciones que implica la entrega de mercancías a nivel internacional, es decir, el lugar y el momento exacto en el que se considera entregada la mercancía por parte del vendedor al comprador.

They are used to clarify all international commercial transactions. They set the conditions that imply the delivery of goods at an international level, that is, the exact place and time when the goods are considered to have been delivered by the seller to the buyer.

¿QUÉ DETERMINAN?

Estos once términos definen las obligaciones que están relacionadas con la entrega de mercancía que vinculan al vendedor y al comprador.

Entre estas se encuentran: costes de operación, momento de la transferencia de riesgos, elección del modo de transporte y reparto de costes de la operación.

These eleven terms define the obligations that are related to the delivery of goods that bind the seller and the buyer.

Among these are: operation costs, time of risk transfer, choice of mode of transport and distribution of operation costs.
