More than 27 million tons were mobilized in the third quarter: Mintransporte

The Ministry of Transport, through the Logistics Group, responsible for monitoring through the National Registry of Cargo Dispatches (RNDC), revealed that during the third quarter of the year 27.7 million tons were mobilized in the country.

According to the RNDC in this same period through a coordinated work with different entities and together with those who cross the country, between July and September 740'019.914 gallons were mobilized and a total of 1'987.142 trips were made.

Bogotá D.C., November 9, 2020 (@MinTransporteCo) During the third quarter of the year, 27,798,300 tons were mobilized in the country, as one of the positive effects of the reactivation of land transportation of cargo.

The movement, which is permanently monitored by the Center for Logistics and Transportation, created by the national government during the economic, social and ecological emergency declared on the occasion of the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, corresponds to the National Registry of Cargo Dispatch, however, the figure is 9% less when compared to those mobilized in the same period of 2019 (30'618.668).
